Day Camp Program Details
Camp Wetaskiwin is the place to be this summer! Our Day Camp is an outdoor adventure program, which emphasizes the development of outdoor skills, environmental knowledge, and the exploration of the camp’s 85 acres. Day Camp will be for youth, ages 4-15. This year we will have multiple programs:
- Saplings: Ages 4-6
- Adventurers: Ages 7-12
- Counsellors in Training: Ages 13-15
They are placed in groups according to their ages and supervised by trained leaders. Our daily program is well balanced. The activities are selected to teach outdoor skills, foster self-confidence, respect for others and the environment, promote teamwork, and be fun! Each activity is age appropriate and takes into consideration the skill levels of the participants.
Our campers will enjoy activities within their group while also exploring all that Camp Wetaskiwin has to offer. They will have daily access to our outdoor pool to hone their swimming skills while playing with their friends. We pride our program on the emphasis of outdoor skill development, including but not limited to fire building, shelter building, outdoor cooking, hiking, archery, dip netting, and more! (depending on weather conditions).
